The Fragrant Note

Just another hint: if your garden would be water-logged clay, or rock-hard clay, like mine–often a raised bed is the best, the quickest, and maybe the only solution.  Do be aware that if you churn up a lot of the sub-clay into your new soil, it will have a tendency to ‘float’ and become crusty on top.
