Mint Tea
In the hot, lazy days of summer there is nothing quite like a pitcher of iced herbal tea. We are thoroughly enjoying our chocolate mint plant. I transplanted it from a cloddy clay area early this spring. It took awhile to show it appreciated the move (root shock, etc.) but it has fully recovered now and is growing vigorously. Below is a recipe found on a forum with iVllage Garden Web.
Recipe:
- 3 TBSP mint leaves per cup of water.
- Boil water w/ a spoonful of sugar.
- Pour water into teapot or cup prepared with the mint leaves.
- Steep about 5 minutes.
- Pour through a strainer and drink.
